Join the Kern River Valley Heritage Foundation to tour Hanning Flat beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5th. Carpooling starts at 9:30 a.m. from the Kern River Valley Museum in Kernville.
A host of experts will be sharing their knowledge of the area. The topics will range from pre-history to wildlife to plant identification and uses.
This tour involves walking, so please dress appropriately. Don’t forget to bring a chair, water and a snack or lunch. There is a porta-potty on site.
